Senior Clinical Specialist (Northeast USA)

A medical technology company based in San Diego County is growing their US Sales team and looking to hire an additional Clinical Specialist or Senior Clinical Specialist. The company has launched a new neurosurgical robotic system and is developing related products for their medical device portfolio. This role will act as a device specialist for the system during neurosurgical procedures and will be responsible for educating and training hospital physicians.

***This is a field-based role focused on customers based in the US Northeast States (NY/NJ to Maine). Frequent travel required within the US.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as device specialist for the System during surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and products are available in hospitals.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide customer service and education.
• Responds promptly and appropriately to technical inquiries by customers and colleagues.
• Maintains a working knowledge of competitor products.
• Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to the System.
• Ability to manage personal expenses and budget effectively.
• Follows all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of clinical or medical device sales experience.
• 3-6 years of clinical experience in functional Neurosurgery and specifically DBS and SEEG procedures.
• Surgical Operating Room experience and knowledge of OR sterile protocols.
• Prior experience with image guided systems is a plus.
