Meet Life Sciences Group (“Meet”) is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chains. We take a zero-tolerance approach and act ethically, responsibly, and with integrity in all business relationships.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps taken during the above financial year.
Our Business
Meet Life Sciences Ltd., Meet Recruitment Inc., and Meet Personalberatung GmbH are subsidiaries of Meet Life Sciences Group. We are an international talent provider specialising in the Life Sciences sector, operating across the UK, USA, and Europe.
Meet maintains policies and procedures designed to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking, including:
A Code of Conduct outlining ethical standards for employees.
A Supplier Code of Conduct requiring suppliers to comply with labour laws and prohibit forced labour.
A Whistleblowing Policy, supported by a confidential reporting platform (“Incognito”), enabling concerns to be raised safely.
Due Diligence and Risk Management.
We provide training to employees to help identify and report modern slavery risks. We monitor effectiveness through supplier compliance checks, due diligence activities, training completion, and reports raised through our whistleblowing channels.
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include professional services, independent contractors, job boards, IT providers, marketing services, and office suppliers. While our sector presents a relatively low inherent risk, we remain vigilant to potential modern slavery risks across all third-party relationships.
We apply a risk-based approach to supplier due diligence, including checks during onboarding and ongoing monitoring where appropriate. Suppliers are required to confirm that:
Employment is voluntary and free from coercion
Workers receive lawful pay and written contracts
No identity documents or wages are withheld
No confirmed incidents of modern slavery were identified in our business or supply chains during the reporting period.
Continuous Improvement
We are committed to continuously improving our approach by enhancing due diligence processes, strengthening supplier engagement, and maintaining up-to-date training and policies.
