We are delighted to announce that we’ve ranked 50th in this year's Staffing Industry Analyst (SIA) Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms List, which recognizes US staffing companies for both their impressive growth rates and highly competitive industry performances.
Considering the macro-economic climate, the subsequent reduction of funding into BioTech and turbulent trading conditions over the past few years, this ranking is especially meaningful. In addition to moving up three places from last year, Meet has also ranked 19th out of the top 20 largest life sciences staffing firms in the US.
Our investment from North Edge in 2021 initiated a new chapter of establishing Meet as true talent solutions provider with a sole focus on all life sciences areas, supporting from molecule to market across Pharma & Biotech to Med Tech & HealthTech through to CRO/CDMO organizations and the Healthcare Comms industries. Our latest standalone services include people capabilities with Synergy and executive search with Mx.
2023 saw a further shift in our staffing focus, with a further investment into our contract division where we now see parity with our balance direct hire offering. Implementing these changes and refocusing the business meant we could deliver significantly in 2024 and beyond – which is demonstrated by our ranking in the Staffing Industry Analysts’ list.
Meet’s CEO, Hannah Haigh, commented our ranking:
“Being named one of SIA’s Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms – and one of the few focused exclusively on Life Sciences – is a proud milestone that reflects our adaptability, resilience, and commitment during a dynamic and demanding market landscape. It’s another step forward in Meet’s exciting journey.”
With signs of renewed momentum across the Life Sciences sector in early 2025 – including increased equity funding into Biotechs and a stronger demand for specialist talent – we believe our focus on scalable, end-to-end talent solutions puts us in the perfect position to support innovation across the industry.
We want to give a heartfelt thank you to our incredible global teams, partners, and the broader Life Sciences community. And of course, we’re truly grateful to SIA for this recognition – it’s a reflection of the hard work and belief shared across our business.
To qualify for the 2025 list, staffing companies must have exceeded $1 million in revenue in 2020 and had a compound annual growth rate of at least 15% between 2020 and 2024.
It is also stated that only organic revenue is to be considered, with any additional growth from acquisitions also being deducted.
Based on US staffing revenue, the list includes:
Temporary staffing revenue
Direct hire conversion fees
Retained search conversion fees
Temp-to-perm conversion fees
Revenue from franchisees
Revenue from payrolling, PEO services, MSP fees or pass-through fees, RPO, HRO, outplacement and solutions have been excluded.
