On Friday 26th of September, Meet Life Sciences hosted its first executive roundtable event in Manhattan, New York, bringing together leaders from the Health Tech sector specifically.
The evening was focused on how technological advancements are reshaping medicine and patient outcomes globally. With the digitalization of medicine, we are beginning to bridge the gap for those who cannot access traditional health practices and bring critical support within reach for many more people.
As well as discussing its real-world impact, we touched on how this innovative field is shaping the talent market and the importance of safety and ethical governance.
While we can’t mention too much about the discussions that took place (the details touched on at roundtables are best kept private!), we have highlighted several key themes that were discussed below:
AI and Data-Driven Healthcare: How AI is revolutionizing clinical decision-making, diagnostics, and drug discovery.
Digital Therapeutics and Patient Engagement: The growing role of tech-enabled solutions in improving adherence, access, and outcomes.
Regulation and Responsible Innovation: Balancing rapid advancement with the need for compliance, ethics, and inclusivity.
Talent and Collaboration: Bridging the gap between scientific expertise and digital skillsets to fuel sustainable innovation.
“The conversation was rich, spanning AI-driven diagnostics, digital therapeutics, patient-centric innovation, and the regulatory challenges that come with rapid advancement. What stood out to me was the shared commitment - not just to innovate, but to do it responsibly, inclusively, and with measurable impact on patient outcomes. Thank you to Meet Life Sciences for starting the conversation, grateful to be part of a community that’s shaping the future of healthcare.”
– Tanya Miladinovic, PhD, MSc
