They are seeking a dedicated Senior Sales Specialist to lead the promotion and adoption of their first commercial oncology product within a defined geographic territory. Role Summary
You will serve as a key advocate for the company's innovative oncology product in the market. Your main responsibility is to build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to support product utilization. This position involves traveling within your territory, engaging with key stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets and support strategic initiatives. Your efforts will directly influence the company’s growth and its ability to deliver new options for cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective territory plans to maximize product adoption
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders
  • Conduct engaging discussions about the product’s benefits, tailored to customer needs
  • Utilize approved tools and messaging to meet sales goals and strategic targets
  • Collaborate with marketing, clinical education, and medical teams to support customer success
  • Organize and support promotional programs and speaker engagements within the territory
  • Monitor market information to provide insights and feedback to internal teams
  • Manage expenses and ensure activities align with company policies

Experience & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales, preferably within oncology or rare diseases
  • Proven success in a competitive sales environment with a results-driven mindset
  • Strong understanding of oncology practices and healthcare stakeholder dynamics
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel frequently within the territory, with occasional overnight stays

Salary
This role offers a base salary between $190,000 and $215,000, depending on experience.
