Skin Health Nurse:

A growing medical device company based in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Skin Health Nurse to support their expanding clinical customer base in North America. The company develops next-generation biometric sensor devices for hospital use and cloud-based clinical software solutions.

The Skin Health Nurse will execute clinical implementation activities and support the Pressure Injury clinical outcomes program for their medical device platform. This role will support the clinical and sales team by reinforcing product adoption within established hospital and healthcare system accounts, including coaching nurses and physicians on appropriate, compliant use that drives improved clinical outcomes and sustained utilization.

This nurse will be expected to travel 80% of the time to clinical/hospital customer sites within the state of Texas. Ideally, this individual would be located in the greater Dallas or Houston, TX area.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the clinical and sales team by reinforcing medical device product adoption within established hospital and healthcare system accounts, including coaching nurses and physicians on appropriate, compliant use that drives improved clinical outcomes and sustained utilization.
  • Provide ongoing education and technical support to hospital personnel, delivering product training and reinforcing best practices to ensuring effective integration into clinical workflows and consistent, outcome-driven use.
  • Maintain strong relationships with hospital staff and key stakeholders to sustain engagement, promote accountable utilization, and support expansion of product use within existing departments and workflows.
  • Monitor and communicate customer feedback and market observations that may influence company sales performance, service needs, and product development priorities.
  • Represent the business professionally in alignment with company policies, procedures, and customer engagement standards serving as a trusted clinical and commercial partner.
  • Complete and submit required documentation and reporting (including account activity reports, expense reports, and complaint reports) in accordance with established policies and procedures.

 

Required Experience:

  • B.S. (or more advanced degree) in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in acute care and/or post-acute care settings.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 80%.
  • Wound care and pressure injury prevention knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support clinical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred:
  • Ability to perform all activities in compliance with applicable Quality Management System requirements and company procedures.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Wound care certification.
  • Experience supporting clinical adoption of medical device technologies, with exposure to clinical implementation and/or outcomes-based programs.
  • Experience implementing or supporting cloud-based clinical decision support and documentation platforms.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Experience working across both acute care and post-acute care environments.
