The opportunity (Role summary)

As a Senior Presentation Designer, you will play a key role in developing and refining presentation content that communicates complex data and ideas effectively. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, support new business pitches, and contribute to the continuous improvement of presentation standards. This flexible on-site role offers the chance to apply your creative flair directly to live meetings and events, ensuring seamless delivery and impactful communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and design of engaging presentations, ensuring alignment with client and brand guidelines.
• Accurately restyle slides and formats, delivering high-quality outputs within deadlines and budget.
• Visualize data effectively by plotting and redrawing figures and tables using design tools.
• Create interactive elements, animations, and data visualizations to enhance presentation engagement.
• Design and update presentation templates, maintaining consistency and adherence to branding.
• Support the development of new pitches and proposals with compelling visuals and content.
• Manage project timelines, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure smooth delivery for meetings and events.
• Contribute to team brainstorming, provide guidance on best practices, and stay updated on presentation trends.
• Mentor junior team members, review their work, and assist in their development.
• Support with recruitment, training, and development efforts for the presentation team.

What you’ll bring

• Over 10 years of experience in presentation or graphic design, ideally within a medical communications agency.
• Proven expertise in PowerPoint, with good working knowledge of Prezi and other platforms.
• Strong skills in visual and data visualisation, layout, and storytelling.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables.
• Experience in team management, training, or mentoring is a plus.
• A design qualification is desirable.

Compensation & benefits

This role offers a salary range of £38,000 to £45,000, depending on experience.
