The opportunity (Role summary)

As a Senior Director of Clinical Development, you will spearhead clinical strategy and oversee the execution of late-stage programs for molecules transitioning from discovery. You will act as a key leader, working closely with research teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical data. Based on-site, you will be integral to shaping the company’s pipeline and ensuring compliance with global standards. Key responsibilities

  • Lead clinical input for the planning and development of late-stage molecules, ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards.
  • Oversee clinical execution, manage development timelines, and coordinate with external partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Support translational and regulatory activities, including preparing submissions to authorities and maintaining awareness of evolving standards.
  • Serve on transition teams to guide molecules in-licensed, acquired, or partnered, ensuring seamless integration into development pipelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical trial design, execution, and data interpretation to support global Phase 1–2a programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging science, competitive landscapes, and global standards across relevant disease areas.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in clinical development leadership, including overseeing global Phase 1–2a clinical programs.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory pathways in regions including the US, Europe, and Japan.
  • Experience with NDA, MAA, and J-NDA submissions, especially in innovative therapies.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving scientific and regulatory landscapes.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences or a related field.

Compensation & benefits

This role offers a competitive salary in the range of $300,000–$350,000, depending on experience. Compensation details will be shared during the process.
