The opportunity (Role summary)
This role is for a Technical Project Manager with extensive PET manufacturing experience, specifically in cyclotron-based production. You will support the transition from development to clinical and commercial manufacturing. Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, you will leverage your technical skills to drive key projects, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate smooth technology transfers. The position is based on-site in Bridgewater, New Jersey, with initial relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects associated with PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Apply hands-on knowledge to identify technical needs, risks, and project roadblocks.
- Support cyclotron-based manufacturing, radiochemistry, and PET production processes.
- Drive technology transfer and implementation of new manufacturing methods.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and define clear ownership for deliverables.
- Lead meetings, set agendas, and ensure project actions are tracked and completed.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and priorities to scientific and operational teams.
- Address issues proactively by assessing when escalation is needed.
- Support the transition of development efforts into clinical and commercial production.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven, hands-on PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with cyclotron-based PET production.
- Deep understanding of the technical and practical requirements of PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with scientists, manufacturing teams, and senior leadership.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Sound judgment for prioritizing technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
Preferred backgrounds include PET radiopharmacist, radiochemistry scientist, PET production supervisor, or radiopharmaceutical manufacturing professional.
Compensation & relocation
This role offers a base salary of approximately $150.00–$180.00 per day, depending on experience. Relocation support may be available for the right candidate, subject to individual circumstances.
