The opportunity (Role summary)
As a Medical Information Specialist on a fixed-term contract, you will provide expert scientific support to healthcare professionals, internal teams, and external stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional groups, including medical affairs and regulatory teams, to ensure the accuracy and compliance of all medical information delivered. The position is based on-site, with an engaging environment that encourages collaboration and excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate, balanced, and timely medical information in response to inquiries from healthcare professionals and internal teams.
  • Review and maintain medical content to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Partner with medical and regulatory teams to support the development of medical communication materials.
  • Analyze incoming requests to identify appropriate scientific responses and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions and documentation to support compliance and audit readiness.
  • Improve processes and tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of medical information delivery.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in medical information, pharmacovigilance, or medical affairs within the life sciences sector.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, regulatory standards, and medical writing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with medical content management systems and scientific databases.
  • A relevant degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • Eligibility to work on a fixed-term contract in the UK.

Compensation & benefits
This role offers a base salary of £55,000–£57,000, depending on experience.
