The opportunity (Role summary)

As a Medical Affairs Manager/MSL, you will lead local scientific research activities and foster relationships with healthcare professionals to elevate the company’s scientific standing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including clinical research, regulatory, and commercial to ensure alignment in delivering education, insights, and innovative solutions. This on-site role involves developing region-specific engagement strategies, combining face-to-face and digital outreach, to meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals in the therapy area.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate local medical research activities to ensure scientific and operational excellence.
  • Ensure clinical studies are planned, executed, and communicated in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage internal and external partners to meet quality, timelines, and budget expectations.
  • Develop and implement omnichannel engagement plans, blending in-person and digital communication tailored to healthcare provider needs.
  • Support investigator-initiated trials and build strategic collaborations within the community.
  • Stay updated with scientific developments in oncology and hematology, and communicate findings effectively.

What you’ll bring

  • An advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical affairs, medical science liaison, or clinical research.
  • Strong scientific knowledge relevant to oncology, hematology, or related therapy areas.
  • Proven experience in supporting clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, and digital medical communication.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage healthcare professionals and internal teams effectively.
