The opportunity (Role summary)
As a Medical Affairs Manager specializing in GynaeOncology, you will develop and implement medical strategies aligned with the company's portfolio. You will serve as a key scientific partner to external experts, collecting insights from the field to inform internal decision-making. This is an on-site position based in Munich, offering an immersive environment to collaborate directly with medical professionals and internal stakeholders.
You will work across medical, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure scientific excellence and strategic alignment. Building trusted relationships with key opinion leaders and medical societies will be central to your success, helping to shape the company's evidence generation and communication strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with external experts, physicians, and specialists through non-promotional scientific exchange.
- Develop and execute local or regional medical affairs plans aligned with portfolio areas such as oncology and women’s health.
- Capture and synthesize clinical feedback from the field to inform strategic planning and identify evidence gaps.
- Act as a scientific resource and trusted advisor to internal teams, including commercial, regulatory, and market access.
- Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical societies to support educational and scientific collaborations.
- Ensure medical insights are integrated into product development and external communications.
What you’ll bring
- An advanced scientific degree such as MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in Medical Affairs, clinical development, or as a Medical Science Liaison, especially in oncology or GynaeOncology.
- Deep therapeutic knowledge of oncology, with specific expertise in solid tumours or gynecology oncology preferred.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with KOLs and healthcare providers.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and translate field insights into strategic actions.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Compensation & benefits
This role offers a salary in the range of €130,000–€140,000 per year, depending on experience.
