The opportunity (Role summary)

As Director of Data Management, you will oversee clinical data operations, ensuring data integrity and quality across multiple studies. You will collaborate with clinical, biostatistics, and regulatory teams to streamline data processes and facilitate successful study execution. This is an on-site position located in a vibrant city, with your leadership directly impacting trial success.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage data management teams to execute clinical data strategies effectively
  • Develop and implement standards and processes to ensure high-quality, compliant data collection
  • Collaborate with project teams to optimize data workflows and troubleshoot issues
  • Manage relationships with CROs and external vendors to oversee data delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline data management operations
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Analyze workflow metrics to identify areas for efficiency improvements

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in clinical data management leadership, ideally at a senior level
  • Strong knowledge of data management processes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Hands-on experience with clinical data systems and tools (e.g., Medidata Rave, EDC platforms)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams and liaise across functions
  • A track record of managing CRO relationships and overseeing vendor activities
  • Ability to foster collaboration and drive process improvements

Compensation & benefits

This role offers a base salary range of £102,000 to £130,000, depending on experience.
