The opportunity (Role summary)
As Content Hub Transformation Director, you will spearhead the design and implementation of a new global content hub model from scratch. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define the hub’s structure, scope, and service offerings, ensuring alignment with broader marketing transformation strategies. You’ll lead vendor evaluations, manage transition processes, and shape long-term vendor and ecosystem strategies. This on-site leadership role offers the chance to influence a comprehensive content transformation that enhances operational efficiency and future-proofs the organization’s content capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design of a target content hub structure, defining roles, scope, and services within the end-to-end marketing ecosystem.
- Ensure hub transformation aligns with broader marketing and digital transformation initiatives, including taxonomy, workflows, and technology.
- Manage RFP processes, vendor selection, and contracting, fostering strong partnerships and reducing reliance on external agencies.
- Oversee transition planning and execution, maintaining content delivery continuity during legacy workflow migrations.
- Develop and implement a long-term vendor and ecosystem strategy, including governance, KPIs, and commercial frameworks.
- Build a capability roadmap incorporating innovative content production methods, AI tools, and self-service features from day one.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in content or marketing operations, digital transformation, or enterprise content supply chains.
- Proven experience designing or transforming global content hubs, shared services, or centers of excellence.
- Strong vendor management skills, including leading RFPs, contract negotiations, and partner performance optimization.
- Experience working in highly regulated, global environments, with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related fields. A postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in digital transformation or project management are a plus.
This role offers a salary range of £150,000–£180,000, depending on experience, reflecting the level of strategic impact and leadership required.
