The opportunity (Role summary)

As an Associate Director of Global Product Quality, you will lead efforts to uphold and enhance quality standards across product portfolios. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, regulatory, and R&D, to ensure products meet rigorous quality requirements. This on-site role offers an impactful leadership position within a supportive environment where your expertise will directly influence product success and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead global quality initiatives and strategic projects to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Manage and mentor quality teams across manufacturing sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities to optimise product quality and process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and oversee audits to maintain accreditation.
  • Ensure manufacturing practices and documentation meet all regulatory and internal standards.
  • Partner with R&D and production teams to resolve quality issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of industry regulations to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of compliance.

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical quality management, preferably with biologics, sterile, or solid dosage forms.
  • Strong leadership skills with previous experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of GMP, GDP, and relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent communication skills suitable for liaising with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site in a committed pharmaceutical environment.

Compensation & benefits

This role offers a base salary range of £90,000–£100,000, depending on experience. Compensation details will be shared during the process.
