The opportunity (Role summary)

This Associate Director, Clinical Science, role is designed for an experienced professional to provide expert leadership in clinical development programs. You will partner with clinical, regulatory, and scientific teams to design and oversee clinical strategies that ensure the success of key projects. The work is conducted on-site, fostering close collaboration and dynamic teamwork.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of clinical science strategies for pivotal development programs
  • Manage and mentor a team of clinical scientists, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Partner with clinical operations and regulatory teams to ensure alignment of scientific and operational goals
  • Drive the interpretation of clinical data, supporting regulatory submissions and scientific publications
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external investigators, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and quality standards

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in clinical science within the life sciences industry, ideally with a background in clinical development or medical affairs
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing complex projects
  • Strong scientific expertise in relevant therapeutic areas
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across functions
  • Relevant industry certifications or advanced degrees (e.g., PhD, MD) preferred

Compensation & benefits

This role offers a base salary ranging from $150,000 to $190,000, depending on experience.
