Vice President, Marketing – North America

Location: Los Angeles, CA (In-office)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Travel: Domestic and international travel required (e.g., conferences, distributor visits)


Position Summary

A fast-growing health technology company is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Marketing to lead North American marketing efforts for its advanced diagnostic device and digital health platform. This role will be pivotal in increasing market adoption, launching new tools, and shaping brand strategy in a specialized segment of preventive healthcare.

The ideal candidate has deep healthcare marketing experience (medical devices, diagnostics, or digital health), exceptional cross-functional leadership skills, and a strong grasp of both clinical and policy-driven dynamics within the U.S. healthcare system.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive North America marketing strategy for existing and new product offerings

  • Deeply understand U.S. healthcare policy, reimbursement pathways, and stakeholder landscapes; communicate insights to executive leadership

  • Define and refine value propositions, core messaging, and positioning for clinical and administrative decision-makers

  • Oversee brand development and management across product lines, including a medical device and a digital health solution

  • Lead market segmentation and go-to-market planning for digital product launches, initially in North America, with potential for global expansion

  • Drive the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, field marketing, and educational initiatives

  • Create marketing and training materials tailored for both clinical and non-clinical audiences (e.g., C-suite, providers, regulators)

  • Support the commercialization process by working closely with sales and field teams

  • Lead planning and execution of conferences, scientific communications, advisory boards, and key opinion leader engagement, in collaboration with Medical Affairs

  • Manage external marketing and branding agencies

  • Oversee marketing budgets and resource planning


Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare marketing or market development, preferably in medical devices, diagnostics, or digital health

  • Proven success in launching and scaling medical technologies or digital tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, including reimbursement and provider landscapes

  • Experience engaging with key opinion leaders, clinical stakeholders, and health system decision-makers

  • Familiarity with wound care, pressure injury prevention, or patient safety initiatives is a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to execute daily tactical tasks while driving broader strategic initiatives

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with excellent project and budget management capabilities

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally


Work Environment & Compliance

This role is based in the Los Angeles office and requires regular in-person collaboration. All activities must be carried out in compliance with the company’s Quality Management System and applicable regulatory standards.
