Our client, a biopharmaceutical company advancing a late-stage clinical platform of novel therapies for classical complement-mediated neuroinflammatory diseases, is seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Development to join their team. As a key leader, you will drive the clinical strategy and execution of development programs, ensuring scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with corporate objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction and execution of clinical development programs from early-phase through late-stage trials
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful execution of clinical development plans
  • Drive regulatory filings, submissions, and management, aligning with global guidelines
  • Analyze clinical trial data and provide clear recommendations for strategy
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders
  • Manage clinical trial budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver high-quality results
  • Present clinical progress and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and external partners
  • Stay informed of industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory developments

Requirements:

  • MD or PhD in Neurology, Neuroscience, or related field
  • Over 10 years of experience in clinical development with a focus on CNS-related indications
  • Demonstrated leadership in designing and managing clinical trials
  • In-depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements and clinical development processes
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with regulatory submissions and clinical trial oversight preferred

Salary Range: £300,000 - £330,000
Location: On-Site at Annexon Biosciences in Brisbane, California
