Our client, Angitia Biopharmaceuticals, a leading biotech company focused on innovative therapies for rare pediatric bone disorders, is seeking a Senior/Executive Medical Director of Global Clinical Development to join their dynamic team.

In this pivotal role, you will lead global clinical programs, with a specific emphasis on Phase 2 and Phase 3 development for rare pediatric bone disorders. As the ideal candidate, you will possess extensive clinical and scientific expertise in rare pediatric bone disorders, particularly in endocrinology. Your leadership skills will be paramount as you oversee cross-functional teams and represent the company at scientific events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic medical leadership for global clinical development programs in musculoskeletal and skeletal rare diseases, with a focus on pediatric bone disorders.
  • Lead the design, execution, and oversight of late-stage clinical development programs, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.
  • Design innovative clinical trial protocols and lead cross-functional clinical teams to ensure successful trial execution.
  • Serve as the medical lead for interactions with regulatory agencies and provide scientific input for study protocols and regulatory documents.
  • Represent the company at global scientific events and contribute to the long-term clinical development roadmap.

Experience & Requirements:

  • MD or MD/PhD with board certification in endocrinology or pediatric endocrinology.
  • Minimum of 10 years of clinical development experience in rare diseases, preferably in pediatric bone disorders.
  • Proven success in global trial management and regulatory interactions.
  • Deep understanding of endocrine mechanisms impacting bone and mineral metabolism.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from £300,000.00 to £345,000.00, commensurate with experience.
