Medical Writer
A global medical communications agency who has won countless awards over the years is looking for a Senior Medical Writer (or experienced Medical Writer) to join their team! As a Senior Medical Writer you will have an important role in the development and delivery of scientifically accurate content for our clients’ projects, helping to ensure all work is aligned with client objectives and budgetary requirements.
The right candidate will be adept at adapting content and style according to client objectives across a variety of target audiences and subject areas, as well as liaising with a range of medical experts. You will keep up-to-date with different therapeutic areas, strong range of deliverables and other industry guidelines and processes.
Some responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with clients to align on project objectives, gather key insights, and provide strategic scientific support.
- Provide onsite or virtual support for meetings / events
- Ensure all deliverables meet high editorial and scientific standards, adhering to industry guidelines
- Works closely with the Client Services team to review timelines, budget hours, and scientific resourcing needs
- Assist in research and content development for pitches and proposal documents
- Share knowledge with internal team and clients where appropriate
Benefits:
- A life sciences degree, ideally combined with a science Masters or PhD
- Previous medical writing experience from a medical communications agency
- Working across a broad range of projects and/or therapy areas
- Ideally, experience of attending and supporting clients at scientific meetings (congresses, symposia, advisory boards, etc)
- Experience of effectively prioritising and managing your own workload
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
