We’re looking for a talented and driven Senior Account Manager or Account Manager to join our client's expanding global medical communications team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in leading scientific publication activities across multiple high-impact therapy areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work with top-tier clients on meaningful, strategic, and scientific content that shapes the healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring proactive communication, exceptional service, and strong relationship management.
  • Drive timelines, budgets, and project plans to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant deliverables aligned with industry standards (e.g., GPP, ICMJE).
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams — including medical writers, editors, and designers — to deliver scientifically accurate, editorially sound materials.
  • Provide strategic oversight of publication content development, ensuring alignment with client goals and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to publication strategy by developing gap analyses, authorship matrices, and tactical recommendations in collaboration with scientific teams.
  • Spot opportunities for organic account growth and support new business initiatives as needed.

  • 4–6+ years’ experience in a medical communications agency or similar environment, with a strong emphasis on scientific publications.
  • Proven track record of client management, with a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams within a global, fast-paced setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of publication standards and best practices (GPP, ICMJE, CONSORT, etc.).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Confidence working independently, prioritizing across multiple timelines and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in publication planning platforms (e.g., Datavision, PubSTRAT, Veeva).
  • Therapeutic area experience in oncology/hematology, endocrinology, or specialty therapeutics preferred.
  • CMPP certification is a plus, but not required.
