On behalf of our client, a well-established institute of pathology in Allschwil, we are seeking a Consultant Pathologist to join their dynamic team. This institute is part of a respected network of over 30 pathologists across multiple sites, offering excellent collaboration, peer support, and professional development.

About the Role:
This position is ideal for a generalist pathologist with broad experience in diagnostic histopathology. The Allschwil site predominantly handles cases in gastrointestinal, dermatopathology, gynecological, pulmonary and liver pathology, making versatility and a collegial approach highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting across a range of GI and dermato, gyne and pulmonary cases (mostly stomach and skin biopsies)

• Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings

• Contribution to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes

• Engagement with a collaborative network of pathology experts across Switzerland

Requirements:

• Board certification in pathology (Facharzt or equivalent)

• Experience in general surgical pathology, generalists wanted! Though focus in GI or dermatopathology is also attractive 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• German language skills preferred (or willingness to acquire)
