Pathologist - Bern

Our client, a leading Private Diagnostic Laboratory in Bern, Switzerland, is seeking a talented Pathologist to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility renowned for its commitment to diagnostic excellence and innovation.

Role Summary: As a Pathologist in our client's Bern facility, you will be responsible for performing high-quality histopathological analysis and diagnostic reporting. You will primarily focus on gastrointestinal and dermatopathology cases, with additional work in uro-pathology and routine surgical pathology. This role involves collaborating with a team of experienced pathologists, clinicians, and lab personnel to ensure the highest standards of patient care. The position is based onsite in Bern, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform histopathological analysis and diagnostic reporting
• Manage a caseload specializing in GI and dermatopathology
• Collaborate with colleagues and medical staff to support patient care
• Participate in clinical discussions and medical education programs
• Contribute to internal quality assurance processes

Experience & Requirements:

• FMH certification in Pathology or equivalent
• Strong experience in GI and/or dermatopathology preferred
• Competence in uro-pathology and general surgical pathology
• Attention to diagnostic detail and commitment to quality
• Effective communicator with a collaborative approach
• Proficiency in German (written and spoken); English proficiency is an asset

Salary: This role offers a base salary between £230,000 and £290,000, depending on experience.
