Medical Director

We are looking for a skilled physician to join our innovative biotech as a Medical Director in their Clinical Development team. In this role, you’ll provide medical leadership for oncology clinical trials, with a focus on small molecule therapies targeting solid tumors.

You’ll play a key role in safeguarding patient safety, clinical development, and driving the success of early to mid stage development programs. Must be open to being on-site in NYC. 

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as medical lead for clinical trials, overseeing patient safety, protocol adherence, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on protocol design, development plans, and regulatory submissions.
• Review patient eligibility, adverse events, and safety data; advise on risk mitigation.
• Act as primary medical contact for investigators, sites, and CROs.
• Contribute to data review, medical writing, and regulatory interactions.
• Stay current with oncology literature and therapeutic trends.

Qualifications

• MD
• 1+ years in clinical development within biotech or pharma.
• Must have Oncology experience
• Experience with early-phase (I/II) and biomarker-driven studies.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical trial design, and regulatory standards.
