Manager, Promotional Review Committee (Remote-Based)
Summary / Purpose of the Position
The Manager, Promotional Review Committee will serve as a liaison between PRC Brand Leads, Reviewers, and Agency partners, managing all aspects of the promotional review process. This role acts as the primary contact for assigned products and ensures the effective execution and compliance of advertising and promotional materials. Additional responsibilities include supporting operational excellence initiatives, maintaining and developing guidance documents, and delivering stakeholder training.
Main Responsibilities / Job Expectations
Manage the full lifecycle of promotional material review and approval using Veeva PromoMats
Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Marketing, and external Agency teams
Review submissions for quality prior to circulation and provide guidance to ensure alignment with process standards
Lead PRC meeting planning and facilitation, including agenda development, calendar coordination, expedited review handling, and consensus documentation
Support escalation processes in coordination with Brand Leads
Deliver PRC training to Agencies, Brand Leads, and Reviewers to ensure understanding and compliance with review procedures and best practices
Participate in planning and execution of product launches, new indications, and label updates in close collaboration with Marketing and Regulatory teams
Assist with prioritization of materials in alignment with Brand Lead direction
Monitor and track electronic review progress to support timely approvals
Contribute to process improvement and innovation initiatives
Partner with team members to exchange best practices and support team development
Knowledge, Abilities & Experience
Education / Certifications:
BA/BS degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related industry
At least 3 years of experience working with promotional or medical review committees
Prior experience using Veeva systems, specifically Veeva PromoMats, is required
Experience proofreading technical content is preferred
Proven track record in workflow management, process improvement, and problem-solving
Key Competencies:
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to foster team collaboration and build effective cross-functional partnerships
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical promotional regulations and submission processes
Familiarity with Accelerated Approval pathways
High attention to detail and accuracy
Capable of facilitating efficient and results-oriented meetings
Proficient in delivering training and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
Effective critical thinking and proactive problem resolution
Strong listening skills and ability to elicit key insights from stakeholders
