Our client, a fast-growing clinical-stage biotech company focused on targeted alpha therapy, is seeking a dedicated Instrumentation Specialist to join their team. This position is critical in ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and the efficient operation of a commercial-scale radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

As an Instrumentation Specialist, you will play a key role in commissioning, qualifying, and ensuring the operational readiness of instrumentation systems. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining the facility's reliability, safety, and compliance with industry regulations. You will collaborate cross-functionally to support GMP manufacturing, quality control, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead instrumentation qualification activities during startup to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for critical instruments to avoid process delays
  • Support daily aseptic production activities through instrument readiness and troubleshooting
  • Mitigate operational, financial, and regulatory risks through robust calibration and validation programs
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance measurement accuracy and streamline QC processes

Experience & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience working with laboratory instrumentation in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Cleanroom operations experience and familiarity with various instrumentation devices
  • Knowledge of Quality Control instruments and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
