Role Summary
The Global Lead Medical Affairs will oversee the development and execution of medical strategies, providing expert guidance on scientific and clinical information. This position interacts with internal teams, external key opinion leaders, and regulatory bodies to support the organization’s objectives. The role offers flexibility with a blend of remote and on-site work, depending on project needs, with some international travel involved. It plays a vital part in shaping clinical pathways, scientific collaborations, and the organization's overall approach to medical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of global medical strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support the creation of scientific content, including publications, medical communications, and educational initiatives.
  • Drive relationships with external medical experts and key opinion leaders to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Manage medical reviews of clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Support clinical development teams with scientific insights and expert advice.
  • Monitor industry developments, scientific advancements, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic planning.
  • Ensure all medical activities adhere to regulatory standards and quality guidelines.

Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical affairs within the life sciences industry, ideally in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical research, scientific communication, and regulatory processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and executing global medical strategies preferred.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences or related field is desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical affairs tools and platforms, along with a strategic mindset.
