Purpose and Scope:
The Clinical Data Enablement (CDE) Data Reporting and Analytics Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data review and cleaning capabilities to support efficient clinical trial execution and decision-making for Phase I-IV clinical studies. This role ensures the use of provided technologies to optimize data quality and facilitate timely analysis across clinical development activities.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data review and cleaning processes for Phase I-IV clinical trials, utilizing provided technologies to support efficient execution and decision-making, incorporating emerging approaches where appropriate.
  • Contribute to technical and process improvement initiatives related to data reporting and analytics within the organization and across the Drug Safety (DS) division.
  • Collaborate with vendors providing data reporting and analytic capabilities to ensure effective support for clinical trials.
  • Work cross-functionally to address data reporting and analysis issues, ensuring timely resolutions to facilitate clinical decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Informatics/Data Science, or a life science discipline.
  • Elluminate or CluePoints highly desirable
  • Experience with reporting and analytics in clinical trial settings to support decision-making.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to achieve goals.
  • Familiarity with all phases of clinical development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry, particularly with global clinical studies or initiatives.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SAS, SQL) and reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, JReview).
  • Involvement in global process or system improvement projects.
Knowledge of industry data standards (e.g., CDISC, CDASH).
