Assessment Manager – Corporate Sustainability, Validation & Verification
Remote, UK-based | Extensive UK travel required
A leading organization in the accreditation and compliance sector is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Assessment Manager to join its team focused on Corporate Sustainability, Validation, and Verification.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for quality and sustainability, and a strong track record in assurance, auditing, or verification.
Practical experience and a broad understanding of Corporate Sustainability and its application in industry.
Strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021 and/or ISO/IEC 17029, including hands-on implementation.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Prior experience in auditing or assessment at an organizational level.
A value-adding approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
A degree in a relevant discipline is desirable, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
As an Assessment Manager, you will play a key role in supporting organizations through the accreditation process in the growing field of sustainability and environmental assurance.
You will be responsible for:
Selecting appropriate assessment teams.
Establishing and managing assessment methodologies.
Leading assessments and coordinating team efforts.
Compiling detailed reports and ensuring accurate documentation.
Managing assessment projects from start to finish.
This is a home-based role, requiring frequent travel throughout the UK, including regular overnight stays.
