Are you interested in being a key player in managing financial activities for US-based contractors? Our client, a leading company in the industry, is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will oversee payroll, accounts receivable/payable, gross profit analysis, and support month-end processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and financial controls are in place. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial stability and supporting automation within financial systems.

Key Activities:

  • Conduct monthly gross profit reconciliation per contractor, including cost and revenue accruals.
  • Manage timely payments to US-based contractors, handle payroll processing, and approve contractor setups accurately.
  • Generate and send contractor sales invoices, resolve disputes, and manage outstanding receivables.
  • Collaborate on automating workflows between different systems to improve efficiency.

Desirable Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Graduate with 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to US payroll and contractor accounting.
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 or similar accounting software, strong Excel skills, and experience with Bullhorn CRM and/or InTime are advantageous.
  • Attention to detail, proactive in query resolution, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proactive, pragmatic, and enthusiastic approach with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.

Salary: This role offers a base salary of £60,000.00, depending on experience.
