The Role:
As Account Executive / Junior Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting account teams across medical communications projects, from strategic planning to execution, liaising with clients, medical writers, and external vendors.
Typical responsibilities might include:
- Assisting with the coordination of medical communication programmes, from project kick-off to delivery
- Helping manage timelines, deliverables, and client communications under senior supervision
- Supporting the drafting and review of content (in collaboration with medical writers), ensuring deliverables meet quality and compliance standards
- Contributing to logistical and operational aspects (e.g., vendor coordination, meetings/events, congress support)
- Assisting with client liaison and support across different types of services (publications, digital/educational programmes, medical-affairs consulting, etc.)
- Helping maintain strong communication with both clients and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality output
About You:
- Relevant degree (life sciences, communications, business, or similar), passion for healthcare or medical science is a strong plus
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a medical communications/health-communications setting
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a small team, taking initiative, and being hands-on where needed
- Interest in scientific communications, medical affairs or healthcare broadly, willingness to learn therapeutic areas, regulatory/code requirements, and scientific terminology
