Account Director - Medical Communications (Publications) - New York

They are a group of full-service medical communication professionals with additional specialist consultants who provide the world’s leading biotech, pharma, and healthcare businesses. This group is known specifically for their Medical Affairs and Publications projects. They focus across a variety of Rare Disease, Oncology and Cardiology TAs, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team across a full spectrum of medical communications projects
• Develop exceptional Medical Affairs and Publications Materials for client objectives
• Build and maintain a successful relationship between the business and clients
• Mentor junior colleagues and ensure consistent growth
• Identify new business opportunities and actively participate in building upon client relationships.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and commercial acumen
• Provide strategic insight and motivate accounts/project teams

Qualifications:

• Life Sciences Bachelor’s Degree
• Publications experience required.
• Experience across multiple therapeutic areas  
• 7-8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a medical communications agency
• Experience in supporting new business initiatives and launches.
